What is it?

It is a hack! it goes against the EULA! . It is NOT a modiffication of "worldedit.exe" or "World Editor.exe" it is simply a program that calls worldedit.exe and then changes some data in the computer's memory.

What does it do?

Loads world editor and changes some stuff so it calls war3 with the -window argument when using the [Test map] button. Also stops WE from disabling a trigger if it has syntax errors (this prevents a lot of annoyances when making JASS stuff) and removes the warning message that appears when you try to save a map that has the default name.

Why should I use it?

Simply because war3 loads faster when you use -window and your resolution is bigger than the one used by Warcraft III, and the other annoyances are good to remove as well.

Any note or warning?

It probably only works for patch 1.20 world editor. The memory addresses are guaranteed to work on 1.20d and 1.20e

How to use it?

Place windowwe.exe on the same folder warcraft iii and worldedit.exe are located on.
Run windowwe.exe

Any tip or anything?

The next instructions allow you to open maps with double click and be sure that the hacks will work:

Rename "World Editor.exe" to "World Editor Original.exe".
Rename "windowwe.exe" to "World Editor.exe"

Pitzermike for finding addresses and making windowhack.exe which was a program similar to this one that required you to open world editor and then using the windowhack.exe.

Pipedream found the addresses and right bytes to put to fix the annoyances like the trigger disabling one and the warning dialog.

Vexorian just used the information about addresses and how to change them to make it into a program that automatically opens WE.
