Hi everyone, i have a problem with importing models to world editor
when i import some of the models into my map i can see the model in the left screen.
But after that when i want it to use, it says (could not load file: .......mdl)

The icedragoxx is right about variations count.
The green-black cube at place of imported model is typical phenomena in WorldEditore. That happenning because WE use *.mdl files and can convert *.mdx in *.mdl only when compiling the map. When you will save and reload map you will see that all models displays normal.
Try to find in Object Editore field "Variations count" ans set it to 7. Or it must be 6, because the counting starts from 0.
For standart Ashenvale tree this count equals to 5.
Also you can press Ctrl+D find "file" - it is the model file, "numVar" - count of variations, "lightweight" - set 0 because you models has not light version, but I am not shure, what that mean.
Also I find that all tree in WC3 has 3 models for every variation:
  • tree0.mdl - simple tree, has all animations
  • tree0D.mdl - destructed tree, static
  • tree0S.mdl - normal tree, static
I think, this information will help you create models for trees for WC3 and import them to WE.

As I understood from the screenshots you use several variations of the same model and when you create object on the map, it goes beyond the amount of variation models.
Since you have only 7 models, and the editor tries to load the 74 model.
